Classic insurance

Hi

I am shipping a 1966 912 from US, will arrive in about 3 weeks.
any suggestions for classic insurance limited milage policy, what price
should i expect to pay for 1000 miles a year. Do I need to have a thatcham2
immobilsor fitted?

Hi Robert,
Not sure what the policies are like for Jersey but I would imagine you should be paying sub £200 for a limited mileage policy if you are over 30 and have another car and no points/convictions.

All policies vary on mileage and requirements... phone around.

In general they would like/demand a garage and second car usage for a cheap policy, I don't normally find much difference in the mileage allowance normally they offer 5 or 6 thousand.

Thanks for the help I will try both of them, I am over 30, with clean license, Garage and car for daily use.
