I have a 1983 944 LUX which needs new brake hoses. I have seen some but not sure if they'll fit, I need to know if my car would be classed as a S1 or not.
If there is anyone who can recommend a decent supplier. Up to now I have seen Goodridge Hoses for £50.00 a pair...don't know if this is good or bad!!

thanks

Tom.

i stuck braided hoses on my 944 and also new discs and pads at same time because needed to (didn't have back brakes) and my brakes improved no end. but i am sure the hoses helped.

also did the same on old vw mkii and say definetly improved braking.

europarts sell them quite reasonable.

Bert's hoses are a very good price. They will not be the Braided hoses you have been looking at, Euro Car Parts have the braided sets of 4 for £47.25.

Try EuroCar parts in Trafford Park - they did have both standard & metal braided hose kits.

Your car will be an S1, i paid about £55 for a full set from the porsche shop or try k300performance as they sell them as well.
