Clay Pigeon Shoot

I hope everyone who attended the September meeting found it to be interesting and informative. If you weren't able to make it we have already added a few ideas and provisional dates for next year, as well as some ideas for the remainder of this year.

Kenny Robinson has kindly organised a clay pigeon shoot for us. The provisional date for this is Sunday 18th October. Cost is £25 per person, to be paid in full 7 days prior to the event, though Kenny is going to see about incorporating Sunday Lunch at the Causey Arch Inn too.

As usual we need an idea of numbers so add your name to this thread if you'd like to come along.

Watch this space for more details once we have them.

Hi Greg

Good to hear the September meeting went well.

You can put Pat and myself down for the clay pigeon shoot in October, must dash coz the sun is calling, lol.

Hi Greg,

Can you put me down for the shooting please and Alison and Scott for Sunday Lunch :ROFLMAO:

Simon

Hi Greg,

Sorry, should have said, can you put Pat and me down for lunch too.

Thanks

Chris & Pat

After speaking with Kenny today he has asked me to push for numbers for this event. Kenny has very kindly organised this and even paid a deposit to secure this event he needs the people who expressed that they would like to attend, to commit and register on the forum. Please could you indicate those who would like to shoot and who would like to just join us for sunday lunch afterwards so we can book the table.

So far we have,

Shooting lunch only

Kenny

Chris & Pat

Simon Alison & Scott

Mark & Wendy

David & Amy

This Sunday 18/10/2015 meet at 10.00 am at the Causey Arch Inn Beamish Burn Road, Newcastle, NE16 5EG.

See you there.

Total cost for Clay Pigeon is £35 (£25 shoot - £10 lunch) if Sunday lunch tops £10 then just pay the difference with the lunch

19 of us braved a cold and drizzling fresh autumn morning for Kenny's shooting event. A great time had by all. Well done to Dave Urwin who proved to be a real crackshot on the day or Dave the assassin as he is now to be known, as it was decided by Dave "The Bear" Carnaffin that we should all have a relevant shooting nickname. Special thanks go to Kenny "The 4th Kray" who finished 4th on the day (seems to be a recurring theme) for taking the time to organise it all, well done Kenny, great choice of venue. Once the fun and games where finished most of us headed off for our well deserved Sunday Lunch and a good chance to defrost. Great fun and food just what R3 is renowned for so watch out for more planned events coming soon.

1st for the boys Dave Urwin

1st for the girls Wendy Duffy.

I'm sure trap 2 was bigger Kenny, I think we were both robbed mate just our luck that's what we get for choosing the more attractive option.

We really enjoyed it today, cheers Kenny for arranging everything.

My eyesight has faded in the last 24 years, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :)
