Forgot to add............Thanks to Peter, John, Steven and his wife from Eastern Western BMW for putting on a great day again. I promise I'll make the bacon rolls next year!! Thanks to Derek from OPC Edinburgh for donating the prize for guess the estimate on the bashed BMW. (Believe it or not, our RO won this!!!! A fab Porsche rucksack.) And thanks to David from Chemical Guys, for giving us a great demo on some of the products Chemical Guys have. Lastly, thanks to all our members who turned up. The sun was still shining when we left so a great end to the day. Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

The estimate for the BMW was £3200, John Hunter was offered a job at BMW.............only cause his estimate way over and BMW could make a fortune out of him!!!

See you all next time.

Believe it or not, my "back of a fag packet" guess for the repair was precisely £3200 ... but I was "persuaded" by Peter to work it out using his list of parts and I ended up with £4600. []

Next time I'll just go with my hunch! [;)]

fab day - thanks to everyone for coming and huge thanks to peter omalley for bacon rolls, lunch and the use of the workshops again !

next one will be spring 2010 - which is just around the corner

cheers
scott

Keith I have a bonnet damper from a 3.2 if you need one? It looks like you do!
