I was reminded of the following reading the motoring section of the paper today where a chap had problems with his drains!
When I bought my Targa there was a problem with the well around the filler cap holding water due to the drain being full of debris.
To clear it I used some plastic strimmer cable and rodded it right through to where it exits the car under the wing.
