Cleaning product feedback

All,

Just a quick note to say that I tried some of the race glaze products over the weekend to clean my car. I only had time to wash it and clean the interior.
If anyone is looking for a product to renew and protect the rubber rear valance, and clean up the interior I can highly recommend the Race Glaze - Colour Enhance - Plastic and Tyre Protectant.
I wasn't expecting much before I used it (I think I was secretly regretting not buying Swissvax or the like) but it has made my black interior look like it literally just rolled out of the showroom. My rear valance has also gone from looking a tad weathered to being back to its normal black self. I didn't use it on the tyres (as I just use a turtle wax spray) but supposedly its useful on those as well.

The best bit - its only £7.99

I have the detailing kit also - I cant wait to have a crack with the 55 wax if the above is anything to go by

Do you mean the rubber spoiler? I'm after something that'll bring back some lustre as mine is looking rather sorry for itself. Tried a few things but nothing has had the desired effect yet. I did buy a Race Glaze wax a couple of years ago and thought it was excellent stuff.

Another option is to get hold of some "black wow" does what it says on the tin!

Yeah mate I meant the rubber spoiler. I am sure there are other products out there that do a similar job...I just happen to take a punt on race glaze.

I used back to black on my rear spoiler and also did all of the door and rear quarter window seals.I did them twice buffing up aswell and they have come up great.[:)]Its suprising how many people polish their cars and dont do these rubbers it makes such a difference.

Raceglaze polish and wax are also very good products, i have stacks of cleaning gear poorboys wolfgang meguirs etc
Raceglaze is as good as any of these others.

+1 for Raceglaze products, a nice little UK company that definately knows its stuff, the 55 wax is excellent too.

Let see some pics of the finished said car please...

An application of linseed oil on faded black plastic makes it like new. Cheap and applied in seconds.

"Black in a flash" is by far the best interior spray which I have used. Its only £2 in asda too as opposed to about £5 from halfrauds.

Another good company selling car detailing products UK based is Dodo Juice, reasonable pricing and a good product.
