Cleaning Wheels

I dont know what product others use to clean alloy wheels but I most of the available products seem to leave a lot of brake dust and road dirt remaining even after old good soak meaning that considerable elbow grease and skinned knuckles are still required.

Yesterday I tried Turtle Wax Ice Wheel Cleaner and it works! spray it on wait untill it goes a dark red (about 5 mins) and wash it off and hey presto an almost immaculate alloy with minimal further effort with the bush or sponge!

Available at Halfords for about £6.50 IIRC.

Claims to be non acid/alkali so safe for all finishes.

Give it a try - incidently I am not affiliated to Halfords or Turtlewax.
