Hi guys ive heard some people use white vineger to get the crap off their blades. Has anyone tried this and if you have did you use normal white vinegar or distilled as i can't find any that isn't distilled-not that i know what the difference is.

Cheers

Chris

yep white distilled vinegar is a good degreaser, never used it on my wipers but it is recommended in household hints type books.

Ive also heard told that cut a lemon or limes a very good for cleaning wiper blades by de greasing!

Cut either in half and then with a knife slit the half and pull the blade through the slit.

you can them pop them into the neck of a bottle of Sol and have a crafty slurp while you stand back and admire your work[:D]

Have used white vinegar on my windscreens and wipers for sometime. It works very well, cleaning off all the bugs, traffic film etc. I buy it at my local hardware shop. It comes in a handy plastic spray container and used to be 99p but has recently gone up to £1.27. Another example of roaring inflation! []

Regards,

Clive.
