Please note that you should have now received your joining instructions via email.
At last we are able to open registration for our 2021 Clear Away the Cobwebs - its a long run (around 110 miles) as we have built up quite a stack of cobwebs over the past months (though please remember things still may change!). This year we plan to run over the North York Moors and skirt along the Howardian Hills, hopefully with a lunch stop at The Whole Hog (sandwiches and/or burgers, sausages and chips - we are still working to confirm this, otherwise it will be a picnic). Our thanks to David and Karen Bradford, who kindly gave up their time in appalling weather to recce the route with us last weekend.
Covid restrictions still apply so please note the following before registering (sorry if this all sounds a bit formal but as the organiser I wish to be completely clear):
1. When you register you are registering your interest for the run, it is subject to restrictions not changing and it will be confirmed on 28 May with an email from r3@porscheclubgb.com, including the names of those accepted to travel, a meeting location, start time, route instructions (there will be a host too), our R3 Covid Requirements and risk assessment (approved by PCGB) - when you register you agree to abide by these
2. We are limited to 30 people per group (not cars), we expect a high demand and will give priority to members and joint members (or a members child), and we are only allowing a driver and 1 passenger per car. If there are any spare spaces then we will allocate these once all member/joint members spaces are filled on a first registered basis - your email on 28 May will include the names of accepted participants for your vehicle, those not included in the email may not travel with the group
3. The email received on 28 May MUST NOT be shared with anyone else, again names not accepted as participants will be turned away
4. If drivers and passengers turn up speculatively, and will not leave, the host will abort the run (the limits on numbers are legally enforceable)
5. Registration forms submitted are time stamped and participants will be accepted in order of registration (I will maintain a list of accepted members on this thread so that you know where you stand, from Monday 17 May)
Again, sorry for the formal bit and I know its most unlike R3 - but times must I am afraid!
Kind regards - Philip and Jacquie
