clear lenses

Hi

I'm picking up a 996 this week and was wondering if many of you have gone for the clear lens conversion.

If so, I'd be interested to hear how much it costs as I may be interested.

TIA

You need front, rear and side lights for the full conversion. It's pricy but you can usually get some bargains on ebay. The cost duplicates if you want xenon.

You're looking at the best part of a grand for the full set.

As Scouser said keep an eye on Fleabay, and I usggest Pistonheads - there are a couple of pairs of front lights for sale in the classifieds at the moment.

The Boxster lights fit the 996 but don't have level adjustment - they are generally £100 cheaper though!

Cheers guys, and thanks Rodney for that link.

I'll wait a while and think about it I think. I reckon I'll go for it further down the line though.

Thanks again.

Sorry but I think the crystal lenses are a bit Year 2Kish and out of date. Perhaps that's why there are so many of them on ebay? They only ever looked good on same colour cars anyway.

Fair enough - the ones I meant were the kind of smoked out ones on later 996s....are these available anywhere?

They're here! They do look fantastic actually - the only trouble is that there are no instructions for fitting....any ideas anyone?
