"Click" when turning wheels

I noticed that when I drive out of parking (low speed, wide angle wheel turn) there is a "click" from the left front wheel, always in more or less the same turn angle (when returning the wheel from the left turned position to the straight line)... The sound is a little bit like some moving part is "pulling through" something (plastic?) and releases (here normally you hear the click). On higher speeds on the same angles I do not hear this sound.

Any ideas before I condemn myself to a garage check?
 
Possible leaf or other foreign body lodged somewhere on that side? Have a look is the best thing[8|].
It's surprising how even simple things like this can stay attached to your car. Just think of the spiders that sit on your door mirrors - they have the privelege of travelling at speed, glued to their web[8D][:D]!

Will have some spare time this weekend... Plan to go under and check.
