Clicky clutch pedal

All of a sudden I am getting a sort of clicky creaky noise when I push the clutch pedal up and down. I had a new clutch fitted quite recently and otherwise it operates fine. Any thoughts, anyone?

Cheers

hi,

My clutch is the same I have had it checked and bled out by my local Porsche specialist they say there is no problem although I have read that you can grease the pedal piston underneath the footwell to help with clutch issues not done mine yet, if the clutch is still under warranty I think I would pop back for there advice mine has done 70K so I would expect it to creak a little[:D]

Mine makes the same noise. Gear changing seems to be OK so nothing's "dragging". I wonder if it could be the slave on the way out. Anyone else got any ideas?

I had similar 'clicking' sensation and a hanging pedal problem. Northway suggested clutch slave cylinder, so had it replaced and that cured both problems - the clutch action is lighter now as well.

When mine was clicking and creaking, a slave cylinder was also suggested ... the OPC didn't realised they had replaced it under warranty 9 months and 4,000 miles earlier! (I had the "hanging pedal" effect that needed curing which is why they changed the cylinder.)

My noise was due to the metal "springs" on the clutch itself (I'm sure there is a techincal term, but I can't think of it offhand.) It was purely a usage issue - the car had not been used that much over the winter.

Some good driving and a track day sorted the squeak.
