Clock panel removal

Hi

There is the most ecruciatingly irritating intermittent rattle coming from behind the narrow panel that the clock and temp sensor sit in. Could someone explain the correct method for removing this panel please? I know the rattle is behind there as a mate in the car found it while we were driving along, and gentle pressure near the glovebox opener seemed to stop it.

Advice please!

Have a look on PET, the exploded drawings show it pretty well. You need to take the heater controls and that panel off first, the clock trim has a flat bit that sits behind the heater trim piece. It's straightforward, but the plastic can be very brittle.

I bought a few trim bits new, they were under £20 each a couple of years ago so it's not the end of the world if you do break something.
