i've put the ebay usa kit in, and all is good, but how do i adjust the time?

i know all the buttons work as i can operate the stopwatch (button A and B), and go to the clock display (button C).

ta.

Hold a and b down together to get the display flashing. Then choose from 12 and 24 hr by pressing a (i think, might be b but if it is just start again) then press b (or a!!) to switch to setting hours then b again for mins then c to store it all.

Hi,

I have a 944s and as usual the clock is not working on mine and would love to get it fixed, do you have a link to the clock repair kit you have used and is this a cheaper option than a new clock

Cheers

New clocks are silly money, used ones go for around £100 and then you're buying one that's old enough to fail any time soon. There's a really good repair option in the faqs that Oli detailed, but it requires some degree of technical skill. [&:]

you need a flat screwdriver and not to be a moron. he emails through good instructions. :)

Just wondering, do you have to use the LED or could you just still just replace the screen and stay with the old bulb?

Repaired clocks are available here in the UK - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Porsche-944-968-digital-clock-BRAND-NEW-SCREEN-turbo-S2-/190434808454?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM

No import duty to worry about & already assembled, I guess you could fit the standard bulb if you wanted to.

Excellent. I've added it to the "alternate parts" faq.

If this is a standard LED clock, isn't it possible to get it locally?

No it just replaces the screen, I tried everywhere to get a batch of screens but no one seems to make them anymore. I guess this guy had a load made as a one off batch.

Also you can just re-use your bulb.

i've ballsed something up somewhere, when ever i turn side lights on i turn on the stereo. has anyone got a pic of the back (i've been soldering), or a circuit diagrame? ta. :)
