Clouded Cayenne Headlamp lenses

The lenses on my Kn have gone cloudy .
I saw on a forum that toothpaste can help.
I have used it and various other abrasives but there are still
some cloudy bits i cant polish up.
This must happen to all Porshe cars with plastic covers. .
New ones are £1000 which is for the whole lamp.
Anyone have any other suggestions ?

You can get kits to sort out cloudy plastic lights. 3m do one and i think Meguiars do. I've seen Boxsters that have been done with the 3M one, and i have done my son's FIAT Panda with the 3M one, after a MoT Advisory. It was straight forward to do following the instructions, if a little scary when you use an abrasive to make the whole lens opaque near the start!! My tip would be make sure everything around the light is well masked with multiple layers and width just in case you slip during the process. Photos hopefully give an idea of what it can do, and time wise didn't take that long. Disclaimer that I have no connection with 3M, just a very pleased user.
