As R.O. do you have a set of financials for the club - not the Region I hasten to add ?

The last set of Club accounts I remember seeing was for 2006. I haven't seen anything for 2007 and probably won't until spring next year. I've already asked Club office twice for an update on the Region's budget but without success. We try to keep a running total of what we think we've spent but we need to make sure that any costs that we don't know about haven't been charged to our budget. Until we get an update we won't be able to do this.

Thanks for the response - it's the national dimension I'm interested in as I hope you realise.

Financial clarity is always crucial for the central part of an organisation like this.

Sure, Andrew, I understand that. I only mentioned the regional side of things to show that it's just as difficult getting information at that level as it is at national level.

Must be seriously frustrating - how on earth has this situation come about ( rhetorical question of course ).

Why not ask the financial director or club office for the latest information that is available to members.
