Gents (sorry, and ladies if there are any out there with nothing better to do than look at car forums!)

Does anyone know who I contact please for a valuation from the Porsche Club of my RS (Touring - sorry to those hardcores who think its not a real one!). I want to fix a price for insurance purposes.

It's a RHD, 50k miles, Amethyst Pearl, Lightweight Seats, Motec and pretty perfect really, in case anyone wants to give it a guess. I could run a book on it!

Thanks for the help.

David

Melv or I if I'm nearer need to see the car where abouts are you? Spec sounds diferent were the Lightweight seats factory order and if not do you have the originals, which personally I prefer in the Touring, is it a UK Car? Any pics History etc...sound nice and they are very sought after, last one sold £55K a very very nice RHD UK car in Midnight Blue....[:)]

Des,
I am in Cheshire and need to get an agreed value on my Gelb RS, who is nearest you or Melv?

Alternatively could I just ask Uberdave to value it and slip him a monkey?[:D]

Cheers,
Kevin.

I am in Bath. Who is the nearest to me?

I can send you photo's etc by email if needed. Bob Watson inspected the car (and did service, etc) and he also knows the blue one that was sold for £55k and described my one as even better. But, I don't want to compete for the most perfect RS as I use it daily, I just want a reasonable valuation for insurance purposes.

The seats were fitted from new as an option, as well as a sports steering wheel - all documented. It also has the cut out switch, which I understand is not standard touring. It is a UK RHD car.

Please let me know how we take this forward.

Thanks.

David

Hi David,

I have just been through the re-valuation with my Ins Co. I to have a RST 40k, full history, original bill of sale, and 3 owners. As of Sept 07 it was valued by Tognola Eng for £50k, however a dealer indicated it was more like £53-£55k as there is only 7.
The Insurance Co have now agreed to the valuation, but I also had to send x12 photos of the condition. Oh and the increase in the valuation of £10k cost me 25% more on the premium, Bargain!!

Would not put it pass Uberdave to slip anything!! Cheshire is that near Herr Belton, I'm sure he would cast his evil eye over your steed and pronounce....really needs a flesh examination he is your man and should not charge as GruppenTecknickdirektor.......just a few pics and a few signatures on your insurance form...the car sounds really nice let me know how you get on...[:D]
