Hi

Not wanting to sound out of touch, but what goes on on these 'Club Days' ?

I have been a PCGB Member for about 18 years, and used to be a regular attender, but then I lapsed :0)

I have a 924 Le Mans SE (1980), but thinking of buying a Boxster now, so looking to 're-connect' for advice

Regards

Hi Tim, I remember you. So you've still got the Le Mans eh?

We arrive at OPC Reading at about 10:00 am 3rd Saturday of the month and help ourselves to complimentary coffee. OPC usually have something of interest prepared for us. Last month it was in depth knowledge of tyres. There is a car lift in a partitioned area where members can have their own car elevated and have a good poke around underneath. Small groups tour the workshops. Ends about 1:00 pm.

Hi John

I think I'll be able to make it along to the next event, and see how many faces I can still remember :0(

I remember going to these things years ago, every car got an inspection, and once we even did a mass Test Drive if I remember rightly (I test drove a 968)

Its PCGB isn't far from me here in Woodley.

Regards

Tim

As for the Le Mans ...... yes, still have it. It doesn't do many miles a year now, and its starting to show its age a bit, but obviously no rust :0(

Owned the car for 18 years now !

Will probably buy a boxster AND keep the 924, as its would be a shame to 'throw' it away after all these years
