Hi Everyone
After an exciting weekend at Donington Historic Festival [:)],
and even though it is a bank holiday, it will be region 8's monthly meet at he Cooper's Arms.

Gathering from 7 pm for the meeting at around 8 pm.

After the usual meeting there will be a presentation on 996 and 986 IMS bearing failure and its replacement.
If you have a particular story to add please come along and join in the discussion
Mike O'Hanlon from Zentrum will also be joining us to answer questions following the presentation.

Cheers

Tom and Kerry

What a brilliant turnout last night - 35 cars was it? Standing room only for the meeting and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Many congratulations to Tom and Kerry for the RO award from the AGM. Very well deserved! :) Laura

Good to meet for my second club night since joining the club. Interesting conversations and nice to see Mike and James from our local independent Porsche garage. Congratulations to Tom and Kerry for their award. RO activities take up a lot of time and without them we would not have a region. I know from experience it can be a thankless position. Well done both and thank you. Mike

Hello

I'm a new PCGB member and have just bought a 2003, 986 Boxter Spyder. (30,000 miles)

The issue of the IMS bearing being a ticking time bomb concerns me, and I know it will play on my mind until I have it replaced. Can anyone recommend a supplier who can carry out this work without it costing a 'bomb'?

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark

Welcome to Porsche Club!

It depends really where you are based. Zentrum in Calverton on the north east side of Nottingham looks after both our cars and Mike, the owner, is really helpful.

Anytwhere else and I'm afraid I can't help.

Cheers

Laura
