Club Night and Event update

Hi Everyone

Just a reminder its Club Night at the Old Ferryboat next Wednesday the 10th July 2013.
Come along and join us and display your pride and joy at Club night.

This is our busy time of year for events and NAT (News at Ten) will keep you upto date with all forthcoming events both Regional and National. I have listed some below which are reminders and also new events for you consideration. We will also continue with our monthly raffle to raise funds for events which we can all enjoy. If you have something for the raffle table that will be much appreciated.

Drive and Dine "" Shillington 7th July 2013

Reminder for those who have pre booked. Lunch is served at 1200hrs so arrive early for pre lunch drinks.



Kimbolton Country Fayre and Classic Car show Sunday 14th July 2013 - Also our Concours event.
This show has been a long standing favorite of the Region. The show this year will be also be the venue for concours event so get polishing to be in with a chance of a trophy . A larger stand space has been requested and confirmed and we can house up to 50 cars. I have also requested since this is the 50th anniversary year of the 911 that we have a parade of cars in the main ring. This really is a show for all the family. Don't forget this is also the Regions annual Banquet so everyone joining us is requested to bring a plate for the table. Bring your picnic rugs tables chairs etc and your own hot and cold drinks. The Region will supply knives forks and spoons cups etc for the Banquet. I also have a limited number of reduced price tickets so get along to club night to claims yours. All cars on display are requested by the organisers to be on the Club stands by 10.00am. Failure to arrive by this deadline could see you banished to the public car park. Supercar Sunday "" Sharnbrook Hotel - 8th September 2013

The Region has received an invitation to attend supercar Sunday at the Sharnbrook Hotel on Sunday 8th Sep 2013. The Hotel is located on the A6 which is in the heart of our Region. Menus and further details of the event will be available at Club night. If you cannot get along to club night and require further details let me know and I will e mail you details. Pistons and Props Sywell - 29th Septemebr 2013

The Region has been allocated a stand at Pistons and Props Celebrating classic vehicles, both on the ground and in the air! Held at Northamptonshire's Sywell Aerodrome on the Sunday 29th Sept 2013, Sywell Classic will combine classic cars, motorbikes and planes with all aspects of vintage lifestyle and entertainment.

Enjoy high octane live action, amazing aerial displays breathtaking classic vehicle displays, great family entertainment vintage and classic traders. "Sywell Classic brings together the best of all the classic motoring events in the calendar, with amazing static displays, live action both on the ground and in the air, great family entertainment and a wide range of vintage and classic traders," Event Director Tom Siddall explains.

"The facilities at Sywell Aerodrome are superb and it has a great atmosphere with its fantastic aviation museum and art deco buildings. There couldn't be a better venue for an event of this kind."

Don't know if this is the right place to do so, but just wanted to thank you for a great day at Kimbolton today. Lovely to see so many great Porsches and catch up with so many R24 members. The sunshine was an added bonus!
