Hi Everyone

A reminder that its Club night next Wednesday the 10th June 2015. We had a great turn out of members and cars last month (see attachment) perhaps we can beat that this month. Please park in the grass area at the rear of the pub. We will also bring you up to date with more of the Regional events for the coming season.

Thank you to all who continue to bring raffle prizes and purchase tickets. All money raised from the raffle goes to supporting your Regions activities. We do need prizes to run the raffle so if you have a small item that would make a suitable raffle prize that would be much appreciated.

As ever those brothers TOM and JON will be joining us and this gives you the opportunity to take centre stage with either your Tip of Month or Joke of Night. We look forward to seeing you all this coming Wednesday.

Events

Pitch and Putt and BBQ - 24th June 15-Last chance to Book
Our annual event at the Kingsway Golf Centre Melbourn near Royston will take place on the evening of 24th June 15. You will need to be in attendance for the selection of teams at 1830 latest. This is a fun event and all equipment is supplied. We could have a change this year and play FootGolf or just the 'normal' pitch and putt Golf. A vote will be taken on Club night and the decision is yours. Do not worry if you have not played golf or FootGolf before, you will be in good company! We play in teams along with the Porsche Centre Cambridge staff and we have prizes for the winning team. Following the golf we have the awards and a BBQ. Due to catering arrangements Payment £12.50ph is required in advance of the event. Please bring your cheques/cash to Club night or e mail me if you can not attend Club night and would like to join us.. For further details of Kingsway Centre including the FootGolf see http://www.kingswaygolfcentre.co.uk/

PC Cambridge - Le Mans
I regret to inform you that the Le Mans event to be held over the weekend 13/14th at the Cambridge Porsche Centre will no long take place in the format I had mentioned. This event has been reorganised and you may received details directly from the Cambridge Centre. However, some better news. We will be attending an event at the Cambridge Centre later in the year. This event will take the form of a revised service clinic and some special drives will be on offer both fast and slow. More to follow on Club night and in Porsche Post.

Kimbolton Country Fayre and Classic car Show Sunday 12th July
This show is far more than just a gathering of cars. Many of you will know this is one of the Regions favourite events. Not only will we we have a stand for approx 50 cars but this will also be the venue for our annual concours. This event is also well know for its Porsche Banquet where all attending bring a plate for sharing at the banquet table. More details and how to book at Club night and in next Porsche Post.

Althorp National Event - HELP!

Thank you to those who have already put their names forward but we still require more heads to help with our National event at Althorp. As ever many hands make light work and if would like to offer assistance to help would you please contact me.
