Don't forget club night is at J Z Machtech, Langley Wharf, WD4 8JE from 7pm onwards this Tuesday (5th).[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"] There are some exciting changes at JZM and key to these is the recent taking over of another unit at the front of Langley Wharf. More will be revealed on the night and members from R21 and our neighbouring regions are all welcome.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"] I hope you can be there,[FONT=verdana, geneva"] Martin Nelson, Regional Organiser

Hi Paul,

I was hoping that you might not mind a member of Area 51, oops sorry make that Region 29 (even though I've not made one of their meetings yet) coming along providing I can get away from work in time. It would be good to put some faces to some of the names that I have seen in the forum. Would I need to let anyone know at JZ Mactech?

Photos on the web.

Brave of them to expand into car sales in a recession! But I hope they follow the lead of some of the other independant who also sell and start their own warranty service.

This must be the first event I've been to where the GT2s and GT3s outnumber the Boxsters! Bit surprised to see them, to be honest, given the roads around Hemel are now so poor!

Sadly due to work demands I was unable to make it. I hope that you all had a worthwhile visit and look forward to catching up with people at some point in the future.

Great night and good to catch up with friends. Thanks to Steve and Jonas for great hospitality once again.

Ditto - thank you Steve and Jonas for a well organised fun evening. The spread was equal to if not better than the BBQ's of past years. It was great to catch up with so many long not-seen friends and fellow enthusiasts.

I have relied on JZMachtech (well since it was simply Machtech at Happy Valley Industrial Park down the road) for over 20+ years to ensuer good health of my Porsche's (first the 911SC Sportomatic and now Boxster Tip). In this time I have seen their buisiness evolve and grow. Wish the very best with the new ventur they are embarking on embracing car sales.

By coincidence (or maybe not!), there is an interview with Jonas in the new (June 09) issue of 911 & Porsche World (page 42).

I meant to ask given they're going into used car sales, if Machtech are going to launch their own warranty to cover the cars they're going to sell. I note that its something some other independants are getting into, especially given the recent changes to Porsche's own warranty.

Great to meet some of you R21 folk the other night. Very impressed with the JZM set up and new premises - if I'm brave enough to let my OPC warranty run out I'll definitely considering using them.
