To all members this is a brief reminder that Tom Harris, from 911 Virgin, has agreed to come and speak at our April Club Night at The Rose and Crown, Hawridge on Tuesday 3rd April. Tom has many years experience of buying and selling Porsches and he will share his knowledge with us and answer any questions you may have. All welcome from 7.00pm onwards, with Tom's presentation commencing at approximately 8.15pm

The easiest route to the Rose and Crown from the M25 direction is to take the A41 from J20, take the A416 signposted Chesham and follow that to the outskirts of Chesham, then turn right at the mini roundabout, with the Total garage on the corner, into Vale Road and the pub is about 3 miles along this road on the right hand side. There are 2 car parks, one before and one after the pub. For those using the good old Ordnance Survey maps, use map 165 and look at map reference 165-949 062.

Hope to see you there.

I am unable to get to club night tonight. I was looking forward to it but then realised that I had bought tickets for a concert.

An easy way to sell one's car would be to people like 911 Virgin. I'd be interested to know how they can convince me that the price they'd offer me (and I appreciate they are a business and need to make a profit on the deal) was fair.

How might I be able to better it myself without a lot of hassle?

I get the impression that people buying cars such as ours usually want to buy through a dealer for peace of mind and warranty back up.

Could someone attending tonight please post tomorrow with their thoughts/comments?

Thanks
D
