Evening people.

I am going to get a Club valuation on my 2.7 Lux now that I have joined the club [:)]

I have a question that someone will know the answer too..:

The valuation form says no scanned images for Pictures.. Are printed pictures taken from a digital camera OK? I dont have a 3.5mm camera anymore [:D]

If so - will prints of these pics from one of my previous threads be ok -like this:

Thanks guys.

Ant, I recently had my S2 valued by the club. I think printed files are fine if done by a good printer + on glossy paper. Be prepared for a wait as there appear to be delays with processing valuation requests, I waited 8 weeks for mine, if you need it in a hurry it may be better to look elsewhere. Having said that I was more than happy with the valuation I got so it was worth the wait in the end...[:D] Edd

Thx Edd, Not too worried about the time.. I just want one for the insurance company.. Yeah I will print photo quality prints so should be fine then.. Like the sound of your valuation, wonder what my 2.7 with 82K, a/c, full history well over and above, etc etc etc will get :) A

There should be no delay, although please remember that by the time it's been posted, received, opened, joined a pile of work in an in-tray, been very carefully checked and assessed, a report written and posted back it's not going to be overnight! [&:] Let me know how long it does take, interesting to get the feedback. Club valuations are pretty generous, if that's not the wrong word. Maybe "realistic" is better. The car is being valued by a full-time professional, approved by the insurance industry and hugely experienced in the Porsche world. That does mean he understands what makes a car worth more than a superficially "similar" one advertised on e-bay, the default insurers seem to use now. If you're not planning to have an accident then don't bother with a valuation. I can't emphasise enough that it's too late when an un-insured idiot has run into the back of the car and your insurer wants to write it off. [&o]
