http://www.clubautosport.co.uk/ Has any body used these guys. What's the low down on them. Good or bad...? I know they don't reply to my emails

surely thats a bad start, the guys at Deutsch Nine are very helpful :) phone and ask they said not all what they do for our cars is online yet!

If you are within the West Midlands, I suggest giving EMC Motorsport a call who seem to be recommended by a number of people. They predominantly deal with the water cooled Porsches of the 80s and 90s (quite a few '44s and '68s there). Give Kevin or Alex a call on 0121 328 2225. I think they do spares as well there.

Another place to try for secondhand spares are Franklinhill Porsche based in Coventry.

As Chas says, EMC Motorsport know their front-engined Porsche's inside-out and they're a very friendly bunch too.

Ive used Clubautosport a couple of times but only when it was urgent as they are only round the corner otherwise i wouldnt really bother.
Organisation isnt their strong point as you would find out if you went there and seen the place and you wont get any bargains but Richard is a friendly and helpful enough bloke ive found.

I am in the market for some plastic panels at the minute, spoke to Deutsche nine after many viewings of their website of delights, all sounded very cool, long conversation was had, and then they emailed me lovely pictures of some awsome looking products ,very freindly, i then asked for some confirmation of prices inc delivery and never heard from them again, tried emailing them to nudge them on 3 occasions..........., nothing.... then after that after reading on here i spoke to EMC and must say was very impressed by his knowledge and down to earth laidback attitude.Guess where i will buying my panels from.

The CAS fixed headlight kit they sell is awful, it's the one thing of theirs I own and it fails on every count... (bit like their website [:'(])

I did visit them when I was looking for suitable front bumpers for my car, it was an interesting experience (they seemed nice enough, but I wasn't completely convinced by what I saw).

I used Simon at ESS for all my bits and he did a brilliant job in sourcing exactly what I needed for a reasonable price and would recommend him highly.

Although i didn't realise it at the time i saw some of EMCs panels on the really trick Maritime 968 at Silverstone the other week,i thought it looked lovely, they look good enough to me for what i am after, plus i bet EMC has fitted a few so know how to get them to fit nicely. The other added bonus is no carrige to pay as they are in Brum.

that'll be the one that EMC built for me then... with GRP panels from Richard at.... Clubautosports!

Same here, the panel kit I got from Kevin I believe most if not all of it originates from CAS. The panels are very thick, the gel coat is OK but apart from the bonnet and rear bumper all of it has required 'fettling' to fit together and fit the car properly. Having said all that Barry managed to do the wings much quicker then we originally thought and this seemed to be the trickiest bit to get right. The panel gap we have is a touch more then standard but we are only talking 1 or 2 mm and this seems to be the way with this stuff. From a distance it looks good, I am sure though if parked next to an all steel car one cold easily spot the difference as I found when walking around the paddock at the PCGB races.

Will be interesting to see what it all looks like when painted, should be the same as Lali's 968 as its the same colour and the same place sorting the final prep and paint.

If my budget could stretch to a colour swap i would copy and go Maritime aswell, wherever the panels originated from they looked fine to me.
