might be wrong but the background for the picture looks like the hotel I stayed at when I went to pick up my RS. It's about a ten minute drive from Thomas's dealership and is a great place to stay if your picking a car up there.

In terms of price, mileage and colour it looks very similar to the one Gt classics appear to have recently sold.

yeah this was the car sold and then uk guy changed mind/plans and its back up for sale.

I'll swear someone emailed me about this car saying they had inspected and turned down....can't remember who...will have to have a look through old emails.

And to think when I bought my RS I turned down a clubsport the week earlier at £28k!!!!

Yeah.

Went to see it. Had had some bodywork and certainly wasn't perfect but I was after a trackday car to learn my skills on track.

TBH it was a step too far for me at the time....scared the living daylights out of me on the road!!! Guy took me out for a test drive and drove it stupidly fast around country roads he knew and the thing stuck like glue - got out of it and thought I'll kill myself in that...bit of a leap too far!

Now though feel like it would be a very simple progression.

RS will be back when I get back from hols and I've missed it - will be interesting to see how I feel once I get it back on track....maybe next year I'll think about a clubsport or Cup car but I like driving to track and unless there is a huge difference in enjoyment its going to be difficult in moving on from a car I know really well and in perfect nick to an unknown car
