I am doing my best not to try and monopolise the SC forum but heres another question. Having fitted the new clutch cable support bracket (thanks again Jeremy) on my 1983 911 sc I have noticed that the adjustment using the two nuts on the thread are right at their limit, to adjust it anymore would have one of the nuts coming off the thread, does this suggest that the current cable is on its last legs and over stretched, the rubber contertina cover has all but perished.
