Having recently experienced the joy of pushing in the clutch pedal and feeling it go straight to the floor, I spent this morning underneath her in an attempt to bleed the clutch system - with no luck.
A few symptoms include: the clutch fluid reservoir was empty when the problem first occurred; when I was bleeding the slave (having refilled the reservoir), fluid was coming out but only minimal air bubbles; there was fluid around the end of the slave opposite to the bleed nipple. I can't see any sign of fluid around the master or lines close to the master. The clutch pedal still doesn't operate normally.
I'm planning on buying a replacement slave cylinder, in the hope that that will be the solution however I have seen a 'slave cylinder repair kit' on Porsheshop. Has anyone bought one of these before? They are £25 vs £50 for the full slave (which seems OK value really). Anyone got any recommendations on approach?
Thanks
