Accelerating up steep hill today........felt like clutch slip on changing to 3rd ....... no previous....

Could not repeat th slip afterwards!!!

Any ideas?

Clutch replaced approx 10k ago....when having main seal done?

How much we talking for a clutch replacement?

If i need this should i upgrade anything whilst in there? TVM

Should last more than 10K, the slave cylinders can be slow returning causing slip or stiffnes of peddle return! If you do nead a clutch I have a genuine Porsche one in stock at a good discount!

Cheers, how do I check slave cylinders ? Strange how the slip only seemed to happen once ....how much for the clutch? If required? Many thanks .

At an indie, between 800 and 1200.

Put it in 4th at 2k RPM and give the slave cylinder time to settle, then floor the accelerator. Does the rev counter flick around or rise smoothly?
