Clutch just went soft?

Tried searching for this issue but couldn't find anything - some advice needed please...

After a few gear changes leaving a set of lights of this morning my clutch pedal has gone soft.

Ordinarily, it needs a nice push down that has always felt just perfect - not real heavy so you need to work your leg at the gym and not too light that you feel you have no involvement with the car - what has happened?
