Tuesday 24th March.

For our club evening we are visiting the renowned restorers of classic Jaguars, CMC, located in Building 9, Stanmore Industrial Estate, Bridgnorth, Shropshire WV15 5HP. www.classic-motor-cars.co.uk.

They are opening up specially for us, and we should aim to arrive at around 7.00 for 7.30pm start.

They will be there all the time so when you arrive you can go into the show room.

The works tour will see every aspect of the restoration process.

Starting in the body shop through into paint department and then on to the machine shop and engine assembly.

Through into the service and maintenance section onto trim, electrics and final assembly.

Questions and answers as the tour goes round.

It would be helpful to CMC if we could give them an idea of numbers, so please let Steve or Phil know if you will be attending and we will add your name to the list below. It's not vital to know numbers, but it will help CMC to plan the event.

A very popular and interesting visit to CMC yesterday evening, with over 40 people turning up.

For a full report please see the R13 regional report in the May issue of Porsche Post.

Our thanks to all at CMC, and in particular to Nick & Tim who conducted the very informative tours. And were very complimentary about Porsche cars, despite being Jaguar specialists!
