CO2 emissions and road tax help

hi

i am about to road tax my 944s its been sorn off road for the last 6 months but have no idea what i have to pay for 6 months tax as far as i can tell it works of the co2 emissions which should be on your V5 but on mine its left blank, does this mean i have zero emissions so i will get a FREE road tax [:D]

The simplest way to answer your question is for you to do a vehicle enquiry at the DVLA website (http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/). That will tell you exactly how much road tax you have to pay.

The rating based on g/Km of CO2 is only relevant to cars registered since 2001 (I believe) - cars registered before that are based on engine capacity (for smaller engines) or a catch-all £175/year.

The simplest way to tell is to look at the badge on the front - Porsche. Now look at the most expensive road taxation band for cars. That's it.
