hi
just a bit of advice
if your going to the isle of wight, or any isle that means your on a ferry, phone cobra up first!
sitting on the top deck enjoying the sun, listening to a car alarm going off, realising that it was mine, then gettting the text, then the call - this will be my 2nd flase alarm in only a few weeks of owning the car.
so i now know it all works, and fully imobilises the car etc, and also to ring them before you get on the ferry so they can deactivate the alarm for a couple of hours while your on the water,

i did ask if they could see it on a map, and they said yes, i asked if there was a lot of blue around it, they said yes, asked if they thought it could be on a ferry? and found that they dont have a sense of humour

but apart from that, IOW was really nice with some very bad and some very good roads, and a lot of cameras but the weather was great and a really nice couple of days

Hi Jon ......... definitely going with a Tracker after your experience .......... I also found out they didn't have sense of humour today [8D]

cheers, Mike

Sorry guys but you will see in the information that you should in fact call both Cobra and Tracker before you put your car on a ferry or even leave the UK.[;)]

Mike, do enjoy tracker.... it was the best thing I ever got rid of!!!
Constant false triggering and argueing who was at fault the car or the system!!

However I do agree though that the Tracker costs are more realistic.[:'(]
