Hi All, I've just developed a creaking from the front of the car. It appears to be the bushes on the coffin arms delaminating. Has anybody any experience at changing these ? Is it something that can be done on my driveway ? Many Thanks, Ian

You can its an easy job if and i say if the bolts are free if not its a pain in the rear but can be done. fronts were fine bolts came off no probs but the rears I had to cut the arm into bits with a dremel on the rear as the bolts/bushes had oxidised themselves together tried heat and plus gas, gt85 and wd40 but would move so just cut the arms just at the thin bit that goes round the bush so i could get a set of vice grips on alloy part of bush and with a bit of direct heat and hammering it did eventually move, the rear has a cam bolt to adjust the camber so i had to get the camber set i did set it at the old setting which i marked but i wasnt happy with the ride so had it sorted at a garage wasnt much cost.

Hope it helps or if your near aberdeen give me a pm could give u a hand
