Coil-Packs - spark plugs problem

Hello, anyone had this problem before? I was told I had problems with Cyl 1+3 which explained the sputtering and engine warning light. Parr mentioned this kind of problem usually arises when 911s are pushing hard on circuits, spark plug / coil-overs (unsure what these last things are) get damaged and spark arcs somewhere it should not.
£680 to transport + fix car, at least all new spark plugs and no more damage.
