Coil Packs

Hi guys, how do you you know when you coil packs need replacing and does it affect anything. Mine were fitted in 2008 (i think as this is the most recent receipt from previous owners with coil packs on). So im not sure weather they need changing or not.

If your car is misfiring then they need to be replaced. If they were only replaced in 2008 and if spark plugs have recently been fitted and they looked fine with no obvious cracks then they will be fine especially if the securing bolts are not overtightened.
