colour code or not

been thinking about getting my wheels done... currently Fuchs matt black with polished rims.

Should I get them done dark blue to match the car or will I then have problems with wheel nuts and centre caps?

Do them whatever colour you want, a semi gloss black finish is factory finish for your car but its your choice. I think anniversary models had colour matched wheels. You can do you centre caps the same colour. I stripped the paint off my wheel centres and sprayed them silver with a few coats of clear laquer, same for the centre caps. There are no rules.

Definately go for colour coded option in my opinion, finishes the car off perfectly. Centre caps up to you, mine are silver. Tried to attached photo, but the files to big...

before, factory satin black

after, tho they are 7&9 x16s rather than 6&7 x16s

After having my Fuchs rims polished, I had the choice -but as my Supersport is white I left them black! Yours in dark blue would probably look good in colour

Hi Nicola - my car came standard with colour coded wheels (see sig) but as with all things in life I covet black ones.... but at the end of the day its down to what you want your car to look like. I have seen a 930 in your colour with coded wheels and colour crested centres - it looked very nice.

I was thinking about my wheels colour matched to the car gaurds red but it left the factory black centers so i will keep it as original on my supersport cab.Coloured centers look different but i dont know if they look better
