Comfort Module

Hi all

I have a problem with the electric windows on my 1989 944 lux, I cannot operate the passenger window from the drivers side & on the passenger side if the ignition is off it works fine but if I turn the ignition on the window will come down but loses the feed to operate the window back up.

Is there a comfort module that could be causing this and if so where would I find it. All the switches are working fine .I will probably have to have a good look at all the wiring but thought I could check this before I start searching for a wiring problem

Thanks in advance

Simon

Not nearly advanced enough to have a module controlling it.

Basically all 3 switches have to be working correctly, and also the plungers on the doors. I'd start by cleaning those up. If the passenger one works with the ignition off and the door closed there is a problem with the plunger is my guess as they should only operate with the ignition on or the door open. I believe either door being open poweres both windows so the plunger fault could be on the driver's side.
