Think yourself lucky that they are not billing you in addition to the list price (997 Base Example):

Windscreen with grey top tint - £67
Black leather interior (Standard Seat) - £2,048.00
Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) - £985

plus your 3rd year warranty and road assistance!!!

All compulsory !!!!

I better not tell you that my US spec car came with the top tint, cruise control, home link plus others .... included in the list price !!!!

ps: What happened to the standard seats be £0 ??????

Robert,

Porsche UK must have added these costs this past week. When I checked 1 week ago these costs were not even listed.

Do you know about the additional TAX being added to the price of the car from the 1st April? It will cost you £1,000 more to purchase the car from that date.

Happy Boxtering!

Firstly - Its the SUN
Secondly - The article is written by GEORGE PASCOE-WATSON

Conclusion - The artcile is completely made up right-wing bulls**t!

This just shows how much faith and profiteering Porsche have in their product reliability. Forcing you to take out a 3rd year warranty so that they can use it to cover their risk when the engine blows in other countries such as USA etc. Its really a joke : you customer are obliged to take out insurance in case your car blows up in 3 yrs time so that you feel more re-assured with your buy " . My respect for the Brand is diminishing !
