CONCOURS

Members from Region 16 are invited to take part in the Concours at Castle Combe. A Pride of Ownership and a Premier Concours will be organized at this event and will be run along similar lines to that held at Castle Combe last year. There will be NO additional entry fee for concours competitors. The Circuit will be open at 8.00 am at which time the Club Stand situated at Camp Corner will be manned. Judging for the concours competition will start at 10.30am and prize giving will take place at approx. 3.30pm.

To participate in this concours, please email Tony and Harriet Shannon at r16@porscheclubgb.com or telephone 01249 822405 for an entry form and a copy of the rules and regulations. Please ensure completed entry forms are returned by 31st July latest.

Members not wishing to participate in the concours are also very welcome and a parking place on our stand can be reserved by contacting us as above.

TO BOOK As a special deal for Porsche Club members, entry tickets for this event are half price, i.e. £7.50 per person (normal price £15.00). Free Paddock Transfer Passes will also be available from the Club stand (normally £2.50). This offer will close on Monday 24th August 2009. As well as the concours, this should be a real festival of motoring with a full race programme to include "Porsche Open", Porsche v Ferrari challenge, and the AMOC inter-marque challenge which will have a strong Porsche entry, and other races which will include such racing icons as A.C. Cobras, G.T.40's, "C" Type, "E" Type, and "D" Type Jaguars as well as Formula Ford, Saloon Car and Special GT races. For Race fans / competitors, practice starts at 8.30am and racing proper at approx 12.30 pm.
