As a recent member I have heard about this event and was wondering what to expect, what time does the event start & finish at, does members just come along and park up or have to use the public car park? I have been to a few Classic Car Shows at this venue previously where the Club Stands are at one section and individual entries in another area.

See previous posts on forum R1&R2 concourse ..very informal it is only PCGB members not other car clubs coming along to show off there cars and it is held in front of the palace in a sealed of area ,not in a public car park .Contact Scott the RO for more details as he has just sent out an email about this event so if you are on the list you will have received it by now

Graham,

I cant seem to find you on the email list for the club, or on the members list either that I get updated every month from the club office ! Drop me a mail with your membership number and I will contact the club and find out why you are missing !

The email that went out to members on the mailing list this morning was:

AUGUST

Sunday 1st - R1 & R2 Concours "" Scone Palace

We will be leaving from Dobbies Garden Centre Stirling at 10.15am. (Or meet early if you wish some breakfast !) This year we will have excellent prizes and new trophies, for Air Cooled, (Water Cooled Cars from Boxster Model Onwards/996/997 etc) (Water Cooled Cars, 924/944/928/968) and (Overall Best Car in Show - voted by the those entering the event).

Registration for entry will be from 11am "" judging from 11am to 2pm with the Winners presentation around 3pm. If the weather is good I understand some are planning a picnic or there is an excellent tearoom available at the Palace.

(I will be along to Dobbies for a quick cuppa prior to going to Scone to set up the club Gazebo etc and all parking is seperate from the public)

Thanks
Scott

Great pictures Greig of my new toy
