Does anyone have any information on the following:

I am thinking about entering my Boxster in the Concours national event at Blenheim. I hear that it is not worth doing so, as boxsters are scored very low due to engine access problems not allowing the judges to get to the engine.

Is this correct? Is there anyone in Concours I can contact do you know?

Thank you.

I suggest you get in touch with Harriet Shannon (username "Millisand" here on the forum - or see Porschefile for the details - Look under Concours or Region 16).

She'll give you all the info on Concours, I know there was work done on trying to accommodate the engine access issue (although, as it takes all of 2 min to get to the engine I don't see it's that much of an issue!)

Of course you could have entered the Cayman / Boxster concours at Cornbury House last month - I bet you would have won something! You'd certainly have got an automatic entry to the National event if you had won.

I've been contacted by Fred Hindle to say that Tony And HArriet are no longer the Concours contacts, and that it is he that should be contacted. I'm not sure if he has contacted you directly JY - ?

His email in Porschefile is however incorrect! If you contact me at boxster@porscheclubgb.com I can forward his email - or you could phone him.

Apologies for the incorrect info - I can't keep up !

Mark and Fred

I received an email from JY and in my reply to him have suggested for him to contact Phil or Fred. You may be interested to know that this particular person is actually in Florida!!
