Who's planning a visit ?

I'm a bit surprised by the lack of general chit chat about this event . I realise it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's a very high profile event, and a first for Scotland with some extremely special, world class machinery on display. I'll be there on Saturday making sure the corgis don't pee on my tyres, look forward to seeing you if you're around .

I think it'll be a very special day - can't wait !

Looking forward to it ...and the weather looks fine .Any volunteers to help me clean the car at the event ?[:)] See you at MCD 's for breakfast

I'm
coming through Sunday with Gill and the boys, looking forward to it!!!

Help clean your car Brian? Ive just arrived back home from a track day at Croft. Wine or go out in the dark and clean my car? Yep, you got it in one. See you tomorrow.

ps should be a great event.

This was without doubt the best event I have attended in years ,the quality of the cars where amazing even amongst our entry of 10 cars .
The main concours event was fantastic with cars coming from all around the world .Some of us even managed to get our cars polished by Autoglym .A big thanks to Scott for organizing the day and for laying on the food and drink it is appreciated .Thanks to Barry for his navigation around Edinburgh [:)]

Yep,
I can second the above. Spectacular setting, the weather and the quality of cars made for an exceptional event. Thanks to Scott for the big effort he put in to organising the Porsche R1 attendance.

Regrettably couldn't make it today as I was working, but if the weather holds I may pay a visit on Sunday.

Thoroughly enjoyed yesterday, great day out. Well done Scott for looking after all the details.
This thing was parked next to us for most of the day, until Brian gave him short shift and asked him to move.

Well done, Scott, impeccable organisation and an unforgettable day in every way. No entrance fee was the best bit........! [:D]

Went to the Holyrood Palace, Concours of Excellence today, Sunday. Shame I missed out on the PCGB presence yesterday. Stunning location, brilliant weather, and probably the best selection of classic cars ever brought together in Scotland. Rather too many Hooray Henry's in blazers and straw hats for my liking, but hey ho! I'd post some pics, but too much hassle to put them here, so a few on my Facebook page.

my pics (not that great TBH) are on porscheclubscotland facebook page - I will post up all the photographers ones once I get them,

Fabulous day, really enjoyed it and thanks to everyone for making the effort to display their cars. I think we represented the evolution of 911s well,

cheers
Scott
