condensation in my convertible

since the cold weather my convertible has been having a lot of condensation the windscreen had ice inside and out the rear screen has water inside and obviously out
opened the front bonnet and the water is dropping off the lid onto the carpet any ideas why this is happening and whether anything can be done about it

Condensation is caused when warm air touches a cold surface. I suspect your car is just generally damp from standing around too much. I found that on my previous 3.2 Carrera (tin roof) keeping the cold air control set to permanently shut off stopped fogging interior completely.

its kept outside started the merc after a wek and that also had a lot of condensation so it must be the weather
