Congratulations Derek.
After years of you badgering and lobbying R31 has at last got a decent size image in the 'Regions section'. It's just a shame it didn't happen while you were still R/O.[:D]

Glad you like it Geoff. It's the standard image size allocated to all regions in the new region and register homepage template. Alan.

Just wonder why it took 10 years to produce photos larger than a postage stamp that depicted 20 club members, none of which could be recognised [:D]

Still, all credit to the new Editor who listens.

Then why is the only one that size?

Actually Geoff you have a point. Look at the picture on page 67 'Wadebridge Wheels'. It is not only impossible to who is there, but rather difficult to even see what cars are there.

We do have several communications channels these days Geoff. Maybe a more helpful intro or subject line might have made it clearer. Thanks.

Such as...
'After years of badgering'...
and
'Just wonder why it took 10 years to produce photos larger than a postage stamp that depicted 20 club members, none of which could be recognised

The clue was in the posts..

Just wondering why you find it so impossible to engage in debate on a Club forum without the need to indulge in gratutious criticism or mocking of others Geoff? It gets tedious.

Andy.
Look at the details.
I was having a joke with Derek and others in on the joke.
You came in and made a wrong assumption and I corrected you.
Now you are taking something personally that didn't concern or relate to you.

If anyone believes that then good luck to you.

That is not what any of the above postings reveal though.

An apology would be appropriate but unlikely...

Quite correct Rob.
I will accept an apology from either Alan or Andy.

Now, now guys... please keep the Forum impersonal.

This started as a comment that PP now has larger photos in Regions and registers; something I have been campaigning for years to get. Now look at the Macan Register section (go on, you know it makes sense), big pictures of my favourite Porsche. So as I said in a previous post: this editor has listened. Hoorah!

Glad you got this back on track Derek.

Like Alan, I too was thinking this might refer to the website and it was not until I read further did I realise it was the last PP.

It would have been more pleasant just to correct Alan's misunderstanding in a friendly and pleasant way.

I would like to remind some of you of the Forum Rules - both of which can be applied to some posts within this thread.
