Heartfelt congratulations to our very own star of Silverstone Classic, Geoff Benson and his immaculate Supersport which is now a nationally recognised Concours Winner, coming 1st in the PCGB (see what I did there, GB!) National Concours Event at Silverstone this weekend.

We know how much you love and cherish your 911 Geoff, it is a credit to you, perhaps now that you have achieved the ultimate accolade for it you might now start on Julia's Boxster [:D]. Only joking, we meant of course that perhaps Julia might now see a bit more of you.

As I said on the day your car was in awesome condition and a credit to your hard work and keen eye for the small details. You were up against some real tough competition on the day which makes the "First Place" even better IMHO - brilliant!

PS: you succeeded in providing me with a number of beer tokens this week as I've won my bet with Chris [;)]
 
Well done Geoff. I knew my detailing talk would pay off eventually! Must admit though that I forgot the jacking up and turning the wheels round bit!!

Will there be a repeat at Lotherton complete with a new set of tyres?

Many thanks to all of you who have congratulated me on the win at Silverstone, both on the forum, and on Facebook.
It really is appreciated. As you can imagine, I am still somewhat stunned.
Thanks must also go to Julia, who has to do her own thing for 4 hrs or so, every time I enter a concours.
I am still in discussions with Pirelli re the tyre prize, so stay tune for further details.

Very well done Geoff, sorry I didn't see you (or the car)! All that effort rewarded at the highest level - lets hope that orange car isn't at Lotherton this year.
