Congratulations on becoming our new Register Secretary Kevan!

And big thanks to Alan for all his hard work in the past.

(Can I get a register sticker, please?)

I'll second that Richard. But where are we all? According to Alan's report in the latest PP, there are currently 255 cars on the Register and we seem to be thin on the ground at any events I've attended. Jeff

All I have just registered my Cayman and hope to visit meets in the future. When and where is the next meet? Trevor

Trev my 6 ft strapping grenadier son has a Mazda mx5 and isn't in the least embarrasses!!

Congrats to Kevan. Would be good to see more Cayman activity everywhere, including on the forum. Look forward to a Cayman meet somewhere soon.

Congrats Kevan. I have become a new member of PCGB & R5. Hopefully see you all on Cayman & other events.

Recent new member as well, well done Kevan and look forward to attending all things Cayman soon. Jontymo

Thanks all.[:D] You will notice from my avatar notes that I am in Region 8 East Midlands, in fact I live just to the West of Derby close to the A50 and A38 and so within a few miles of several places which claim to be the centre of England and not too far from anyone who wants to have a central meet or drive around the Peak District etc. I have had my Cayman S for 5 years now and it still never fails to raise my spirits ( if I get some clear road and some nice twisties ).[:D][:D] You will be pleased to hear that I have some ideas for a trip to a well known city in Germany said to be the capital of car design and visit a certain well known museum, other places can be added as I envisage a circuitous route. Also for those not able to get away, a Cayman Register led meet, reasonably central for all. Our region is pretty active thanks to a keen membership and of course the region is led by Tom and Kerry both sports car fanatics even for things non-Porsche. I must admit that I have been the only Cayman owner at our regional meets until recently and now we suddenly appear to be multiplying. It would be good to have a good sized contingent of Caymans at the monthly meeting.[:D] I will say that anyone owning a Cayman should try to attend their local region and if available on the first Monday of the month please call at the Cooper's Arms, Weston on Trent for our regional meet, especially from May. I'll be there for the majority of meetings work etc permitting. [;)] Club office have told me that I'll be getting a package of stuff, yes Richard one sticker put aside for you! And once I get sorted I'll try to map out where we all are and to put local groups who may not know of each other together to meet within their regions. One other thing I'd like to add, will you all please add some detail of where you are to your Avatar Notes, just a general note such as you'll see on mine, it helps when anyone is advising of anything in their area and helps for assessing if anyone is close enough to offer assistance. Hoping no one needs it!

ORIGINAL: Buddy And once I get sorted I'll try to map out where we all are and to put local groups who may not know of each other together to meet within their regions.
An excellent idea Kevan. As I said in an earlier post here, we seem to be a bit thin on the ground at any events I've attended - Calke Abbey being an exception where I seem to recall counting about 10 Caymans in attendance - so looking forward to some meets in the near future. All the best. Jeff

Somewhere central sounds good, i'm not to far from derbyshire, it would be good to try and get a good few Cayman's out for a meet. Jontymo
