Andy Prill (912 Register Technical Guru) and Richard Clarke have pulled off the the greatest coup and won the Le Mans Classic 06 outright. This amazing feat was accomplished in a 356 prepared by Andy.
We cannot express enough our delight at this truly great news.
Amazing!

Well done Andy and Richard!!! What a great weekend.

Just in case you were confused, they won outright, not their class, but outright, beat everything from 917's to 935's and 250LM's.
Again can't quite believe it myself, amazing weekend!

How on earth did they do that . . . . . there must be some kind of penalty system that adds time to cars like the 935 / 917.

There is no way this win could be on a like for like basis (i.e. actual distance travelled over a set time)[8|]

Good weekend.

Well Done Andy I was in Grand stand No 1 at 5.30 am watching their run and I have to say Andy the thing running though my mind was what you said about 912 and 356 engines they have to sound like a well oiled sewing machine and coming though the last curves for the grand stand straight it sure did sound like a well oiled sewing machine [;)] very pleased for you guys.....

What a top weekend the 912 ran great all the way there and back...... Paul and I hit the back roads on the way back... didn't have time to take photo's too busy holding on to the steering wheel... What a quick run though some of the best roads I think I have driven on with the Porsche..

Close your eyes and open them and you could have been driving on Highway 1 in North California even the sun was out in force.. The long straights and the cuves were testing up GREAT FUN....... I need to sort out the rear suspention now as the roads showed the rear end is in need of some renewing...

Great to see every one and great news about Andy and Co. Still odd to see Gav and Stu on their bikes. What a great way to get to Le Mans.

Same time in 2008 then??

Oh I have a picture of Gavin on his Knees [;)]
