I would like to congratulate Essex Region for winning the 'Regional Award' at yesterdays Cotswold Rally.
although we was not able to be present as he was out of the country, Martyn was put in a lot of effort in getting the turnout that so inpessed us yesterday. For your information there were 3 people judging this catagory, Bob Lovelace (Former Regional Director) Chris Clark ( new Regional Director) and me (the guy who didn't get the job [;)]) and the choice was unnanimous.

Obviously my glowing report of what an excellent event it was at the regional meeting and subsequent thrusting windscreen stickers into peoples hands in the carpark on the morning worked then. [;)]

I was right about it being an excellent event (yet again) and very much hope there will be a 9th Cotswold Rally for next year.

Just emptied the sand out of my shoes and read the great news. Well done all R11 participants[:)]

Thank you Geoff, Mavis and all marshalls for your hard work.

I hope holidays wont get in my way from taking part next year!

Martyn

Well if you can't make it you could leave your car keys with Belinda - at least we will get another point on the sticker count. [:D]

Seen the trophy yet?

Leave the keys with someone who gives their vehicle, a tank, a name, you must be joking [:D]

Yes, I collected the trophy at our well attended club night last night and it is splended, I'm very chuffed, thanks.

But then as the keys are for a car produced by a WWII tank component manufacturer that would be ideal. [:D]
