If you can help member Richard in his search please email or telephone him directly, many thanks.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Hi Paul and John[FONT=verdana, geneva"]I hope you don't mind me trying to reach both of you with the same problem.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I am trying to find conrod bolts to rebuild the engines of my pair of 1981 924 Carrera GTs. The part no. is 059105425A and I would like 16 if possible. [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I have tried OPC Porsche Colchester and customer services in Reading, various independent specialists here in the UK and also in the USA. I have also tried Ricky Caesar on the 924 Carrera GT register.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]The parts in question are a stock 924 item and not particular to the GT. I am astonished to hear that they all seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth! How can this be when there are still many 924 both on road and track here and in the US?[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Would you guys have any idea where I could get the bolts which are I presume essential for any rebuild of any 924? If not do you know of any substitute bolts that may be used?[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Thank you in advance for any information you may be able to get through your "networks"[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Kind regards[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Richard Clark[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Tel 07775 901608[FONT=verdana,geneva"]RACPROP@aol.com[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
